Intaspordiasm is designed to accommodate several calibers of learners from PP1 to Secondary School level.

This is the basic academic program at Intaspordiasm . We like to call it the Curriculum School. Your child will access our modern learning ecosystem, maximised for play and technology to give your child a very different learning experience from your regular academy in Kenya. In Schoolers Access, we deliver on the National CBC curriculum with an emphasis on Information, Media and Technology IMT, one of the key 21st Century learning skills to ensure that your child is not disconnected from the modern world he is growing in. That is why learning tablets for PP1 to Grade 2 and Laptops from Grade 3 onwards are compulsory at INTASPORDIASM. Our teachers are trained and are constantly being upgraded on their pedagogical skills to use technology and play in the Classroom.“We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher’s hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world.”
In the event your child is a purely academic performer, they need not go any further than the Schoolers Access but they will not only benefit from an expansive, physically active modern learning environment, they will benefit from the values that animate an academy of sports, media and arts i.e., discipline, commitment, hardwork, teamwork, leadership, creativity, self-expression and performance.
For those learners who have shown special affinity towards, Sports, Media & Technology and Arts & Design, or would like to explore these to identify their interests, we have what we call the C.B.C Access (Competency Based Categories) offered in three different Schools within The Academy. A Sports School, a Media & Technology School, and an Arts & Design School. These Schools cater for two categories of learners: a). those learners who from an early age have shown some affinity to Sports, Media and the Arts and would like an opportunity to pursue any of these beyond a hobby. We call this The Professionals Plug-in. and b). those learners in the exploratory phase and are looking to engage in varied menu of experiences towards discovering what they would want to pursue. We call this the Explorers Delight. Once your child has enrolled in the Schoolers Access at INTASPORDIASM, they will have the opportunity to enroll into any of these Schools in the C.B.C. AccessTen thousand hours is the magic number of greatness where we have dedicated programs and trainers to support them develop their interest, abilities and skills in different disciplines. In regular Primary Schools these opportunities do not exist because of limitations of space, programmatic expertise and technical expertise. Most private Academies in Kenya have been erected on “plots” and hardly have a playing field let alone advanced sports programs.
To fill the gap of our schools’ failure to provide for serious talent development programs, many “Academys” have mushroomed in the estates providing training in various fields in sports especially soccer. Though filling a real gap, failure in these mushrooming ad-hoc talent development "Academys" is a mathematical certainty. One needs 10,000 hours of practice to master a skill. If a kid is enrolled in these "Academys" and practices 2-5 hours a week, it will take them 96 - 38 years to master the skill! It sounds like naivete on the part of the parents to hope and a scam from those offering these programs to promise that participating kids have half a chance of developing their talent, much less mastering or excelling in it. I designed the Competency Based Categories @Intaspordiasm to solve this challenge for parents. Your child has the opportunity to join a program that allows them to bite a huge chunk of the 10,000 hours required, and the facilities and programing to have a fair chance of mastering the skills they are interested in.
A child will never know what their interests and strengths are until they are given the opportunity This mode is for learners who have either not decided if and what they would want to pursue beyond academics. These learners come to INTASPORDIASM principally because it is the only environment that enables them to explore a variety of options in Sports, Media & Technology and Arts & Design and eventually settle and pursue whatever tickles their fancy. We at The Academy believe that we need to be responsive to this group because this is the group that most needs an explorative and expressive environment to help them in self-discovery.
